In the framework of the new General Data Protection Regulation, Estonian Academic Agricultural Society (APS) updated its data protection declaration. APS, like many other non-profit scientific organizations, manages a membership list in the aim to offer services like sending Newsletters, managing membership subscriptions, breaking news from APS members.
With the following information in the Data Protection Declaration in accordance with GDPR we would like to provide you with an overview of our processing of your personal data and your rights.
This website follows the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation .
Server-log-files
When you visit our website, information is automatically collected and stored in so-called server log files. Your browser automatically transmits this data to us. This includes:
- name of the requested page/file
- browser type and browser version
- operating system used
- referrer-URL (the page you visited before)
- hostname of the accessing computer
- date and time of the server request
- amount of data transferred
- error code or status code regarding successful transmission
- the IP-address used for access
The basis for data processing is article 6 paragraph 1 lit. f GDPR. For security reasons (fraud/misuse etc.) the data will be stored for 7 days and then deleted. A longer storage takes place only in individual cases and for the preservation of evidence in a concrete incident. In such a case, the data will remain stored until the incident has been finally resolved.
No additional personal data is stored or collected by the website itself.
